Our Lisbon adventure goes on, even as winter takes over. It’s one of those cold, rainy days that usually make you want to stay in, but not here—not in this city. Lisbon’s beauty is so captivating that it turns even the grayest day into something special.
We wander through the streets of Alfama, where history whispers in every corner. The steep alleys, colorful tiles, and that timeless charm make it feel like stepping into another era. From there, we lose ourselves in Bairro Alto, where the energy is palpable, even during the day, with its quirky corners and breathtaking views.
The Baixa district is a reminder of Lisbon’s resilience, rebuilt with elegance and precision after the earthquake of 1755—it’s a symbol of strength and rebirth. And then there’s Chiado, a neighborhood that feels like poetry itself, filled with art, literature, and that unique Lisbon soul.
By the time we make our way back, we’re soaked and chilled, but happy. There’s nothing better than warming up under the covers, sharing stories of the day, stealing a laugh, and, of course, indulging in our timeless moments of love.
Lisbon, even in the rain, has a way of leaving you enchanted.
