There was a time when Camping Naturiste Villata was a hidden paradise, nestled between the Mediterranean scrub and the crystal-clear waters of Corsica. A magical place where time seemed to slow down, marked only by the sound of the waves and the cicadas singing in the warm summer air.
Here, among shaded paths and campsites immersed in nature, people from all over the world would gather. Families with children, couples, groups of friends—all drawn by the same spirit of freedom and togetherness. Evenings were filled with laughter, shared meals under the stars, and guitars playing late into the night. There was a special atmosphere, a sense of community, respect for nature, and a love for true naturism.
We have a video from those times, a precious testament to that golden era. The images capture perfect days—soft sand beneath our feet, the sun gently warming our skin. Smiling faces, friendly glances, spontaneous encounters that often turned into lifelong friendships. Villata was more than just a campsite; it was a home, a sanctuary for those seeking authenticity and simplicity.
But times have changed. The last time we returned, the magic was gone. The campsite, once stretching all the way to the beach, had lost much of its original space. The energy, the camaraderie, the warmth we once knew had faded. The families, the young travelers, the vibrant community of the past had disappeared, leaving behind an atmosphere that felt empty, almost melancholic.
The Villata we loved no longer exists. Only memories remain—of those perfect summers, of that true sense of freedom that may never return. But we still have that video, and every time we watch it, we can relive, if only for a moment, that wonderful lost paradise.
