After a few years, it becomes difficult to create something truly original. We are always ourselves, and what we do is, more or less, always the same. So, what can we change?

The answer is simple: the setting and the outfit.

This time, we find ourselves in a 1930s living room—a hidden gem of Italian design. The furniture you see belonged to my grandparents and has been lovingly preserved over the decades, carrying with it a quiet, timeless elegance.

It’s worth pausing for a moment to appreciate the history. The room is furnished in the spirit of Italian Rationalism, a design movement from the 1920s and ’30s that sought to marry function and beauty. Clean lines, simple geometry, and high-quality materials defined this style. Every piece had a purpose, yet every piece spoke of elegance. Architects and designers of that era imagined spaces that were orderly but harmonious, where every object told a story and was built to last. Even now, touching these pieces, you can feel that delicate balance between restraint and allure.

And then there’s him: the black Chesterfield sofa. A symbol of luxury and refinement, with its deep cushions and signature tufting, it’s recognized the world over. From private clubs to elegant suites, from stately homes to exclusive lounges, the Chesterfield has witnessed it all—polished conversations, secret toasts… and, undoubtedly, more than a few passionate encounters. Today, it welcomes ours. 😏

The room, the furniture, and the sofa together set the stage perfectly for our little indulgence. And to complete the scene… my wife’s fringe skirt, light and teasing, moving with every gesture, transforming the classic Chesterfield into something bold, playful, and unmistakably intimate.
