Some places look too perfect to be real—until you set foot on them. Sandy Island, just off the coast of Anguilla, is one of those places.

We arrived by boat from Sandy Ground, the turquoise waters shimmering like liquid glass beneath us. From above, my drone captured what can only be described as a postcard come to life: a tiny strip of white sand floating in an endless blue sea.

Touching down, we were greeted by the softest sand imaginable and a warm Caribbean breeze. As my beautiful wife wandered along the shore, exploring tide pools and seashells, I just stood there, taking it all in—the sound of the waves, the scent of salt and grilled seafood in the air.

And speaking of seafood… there’s no visit to Sandy Island without indulging in their legendary lobster. Sitting under a thatched-roof hut with friends, sipping a rum punch, and cracking into a perfectly grilled lobster tail—that’s the kind of simple luxury that stays with you.

This is what the Caribbean is all about. Crystal-clear waters, incredible food, and the kind of peace that makes you forget what day it is.
